Street Storytelling
Fujifilm Singapore Alan Photo
This visual storytelling workshop discusses themes, techniques and attitudes that creates the "cinematic" look that is often described in good street storytelling. Photos from my own portfolio as well as screen grabs from visually striking movies were used in a frame-by-frame breakdown manner to understand what makes a photo stand out. A photowalk was conducted for participants to practice their new skills on the street.
The workshop took place on 4 July 2026.

PUBLIC SPACES, PRIVATE GAZES.
This event encompassed three components that revolved around street photography in Singapore. Exhibition, Workshop and Panel discussion. Although the exhibition and panel was shared between distinguished guests and photographers, the workshop was conducted individually by me. The workshop allowed me to share with participants my perspective on street photography in Singapore and the guidelines and values that I uphold as I roam the streets with my camera.
The event took place between the dates of 27 March to 12 April 2026.

Fujifilm Singapore
Fujifilm X-Creator
My induction into the Fujifilm X-Creator programme in 2025 felt less like a collaboration, and more like a natural alignment in philosophy.
In an industry often driven by Gear Acquisition Syndrome (GAS) and the pursuit of perfection, Fujifilm’s approach reminded me why I picked up a camera in the first place — to capture the world through emotion.
