Life moved differently between Okinawa and Fukuoka. In Okinawa, time felt slower, softer, almost as if the sea had taught the people to breathe easier. In Fukuoka, movement returned to the streets, but never with the overwhelming urgency of larger cities.

No matter where they were, the people seemed grounded in the present. There was no need to rush what was already unfolding in front of them. They simply lived within the moment, quietly and fully.
